A senior analyst in Lyondell’s Information Technology department, Taneeco has worked more than 20 years in IT, from small “mom-and-pop” businesses, to the federal government, and now with Lyondell’s global organization.

Having assisted in the hiring of others in the IT department, Taneeco takes pride in the role he’s played in helping to grow the “Lyondell family.”
“I think one of my greatest contributions to Lyondell has been the employees and contractors I have brought on board,” he said. “Nothing is more rewarding than to have been a part of and to witness the growth and development of someone added as a productive member of the company.”
Taneeco works to support and monitor our messaging systems and virus detection systems, such as Outlook, ProofPoint and TeamShare.
“In my role – messaging – there is great importance on communication … ‘What is said?’ ‘Who is the audience’ ‘What about timing?’,” he said. “I enjoy playing a part in the mechanisms that make a variety of very necessary communication possible.”
